Not MY body silly! My craft show display body.

I got my body last year at a local Goodwill right before craft show season started. I was pretty psyched because I had been looking for something like this to use in my jewelry display. I love those beautiful vintage dress forms but the cost of one was just not in my budget, but $25 was. I grabbed her up and brought her home, I found a nice vintage vintage shirt for her and took her to the shows. Although she added some variety to my display I think I only sold one piece off her all season, bummer I was sure she would sell more jewelry. No commissions for you lady! What to do?
Maybe she needs a makeover?

Ah ha a great idea! I recently discovered Pinterest.com, where there are lots of inspiring shabby chic ideas. I saw something that gave me the idea to make over my body and I was off. Once I get an idea I just can’t rest until I have tried it, so here she is and the process I went through to get her lookin good!
I think with the final coat of stains she looks like a beautiful old hand carved wooden display, perfect for my Modern Vintage Jewelry!
Want to makeover your body? ( I’m sure there are instructions out there somewhere on how to do things like this, but these are mine. Enjoy!)

These jewels look great dear! I would say there is a great artist in you. Keep it up! I wish I had such a beautiful shape and body. The fact is, I always wanted to be a model.
